Introduction to Taiko drumming for beginners workshop will be held Saturday December 14th, 2019 at the Nae Studio. The introductory workshop will demonstrate the principals of Japanese taiko study and practice, giving participants a chance to experience this dynamic art form up close. Participants may also sign up for ongoing classes separately. The next workshop of its kind will take place January 4th in the new year.
Participants must be 12 years of age or older and those under 16 should be accompanied by an adult for punctual pick up (13:00-13:15) and drop off (no later than 15:00). Parking is limited due to road construction so please consult or make arrangements to park nearby and walk to the studio to avoid difficulties. Participants should wear loose fitting athletic wear.
